When you create an Hootask account, we store the information you provide (such as your email address) and information generated by your use of the account (such as when it was created).

We store your tasks, boards, checklists, reminders, and related content in Supabase so it can synchronize between the Hootask website and desktop app when you use the same account. You can also create a portable backup in Settings and choose where to save it.

Hootask does not connect to Gmail or Google Calendar today. If and when these integrations ship, this section will describe exactly what data is accessed, why, and how it's used — and any such integration will require your explicit authorization.

We may collect limited, non-identifying usage events (such as when a download link is clicked) to understand how the site is used. We do not send task content or email content to analytics tools.
